How escrow works
When you buy, you pay Mineralia instead of the seller directly. We hold the amount in a client account until you confirm that the mineral has arrived in good condition. Only then do we pay out the seller.
Payment methods
You can pay with iDEAL, credit card and common European payment methods. All transactions are encrypted.
Fees
Buying is free. For sellers we charge a service fee per successful sale: 5% on amounts under € 200, and above € 200 a fixed € 5 plus 2%. See the Fees page for the full explanation and worked examples.
Bids and auctions
For bidding and auctions your bid only becomes binding after confirmation. When you win an auction, payment follows through the same escrow process.
